Open world is tiring. That's why I enjoyed RE7 so much, refreshing to play a game that puts attention to detail in environments over map size.
People compare them out if ignorance. The only similarities is that they're first person, that's it. Resident Evil 6 sucked ass, 7 is the best game since 4. Stop judging the first person view and actually play the game.
Better than people who delve into the party lifestyle drinking and smoking. Doubt we'll see videogames say that's not okay though right. People think smoking is cool, yet it's unhealthy,see any inconsistencies here?

Don't get it, people feel they have a job to hate on anyone that's not "magazine cover fit ". There's zero tolerance. Worse things in the world than being heavyset.

I've seen gameplay videos. This isn't me knocking the game per say, it's calling out the unnecessary fluff that games are putting out there to increase map size. Games are becoming a chore to finish because open world designs are forced.
Open world games are getting tired. Bigger map does not make a better game. How does holding forward for a long time to get from point A to B enhance the gameplay in anyway? It works for GTA because of the amount of NPCs and life in the area. Games like this doesn't need a huge map just for the sake of being huge. Wish open world games focused on interactivity and things to do like Shenmue instead of map size.
Damn shame that a gen 9 console is completely outclassed by a gen 8 one.
Agreed, unfortunately 8 gets more hate than any of the final fantasy games.
My God, FF9 and 6 have the most obnoxious fanboys. I've played 9 and prefer 7, 8,and 10 over it. Don't get why it's so overrated, the battle system was horrible. I haven't played 6 but I'm positive the love it gets is from nostalgia. And from what I see of Kefka, he's the most overrated villain ever. I agree. Games are just becoming hold forward for a long time. Doesn't enhance gameplay at all. Wish games would focus on interactivity over size just for size. Walking around in FF15 is a chore.
Very true, don't understand people that are not embracing the change of 7. The series needed it very much after RE 5 and 6.
Why is a game better because it's open world? Not everything has to be a sandbox game. It's hard to nail a suspenseful tone with open world design

You'd think the nostalgia from Tekken 3 would wear off by now. Tekken 5 and 6 are better games and I'm sure Tekken 7 will be better as well.
@Kevnb probably because Cartman is a stereotype meant for comedy. Put a fat character in a serious role and watch the hate spew like no other.
Yet it's okay to hate on fat characters. Wish people would stop cherry picking their tolerances.
